Mucinous carcinoma of colon

This is a young male patient presented with abdominal discomfort.

Patient Data

Gender: Male

Irregular circumferential thickening of the cecum, appears to be involving the ileocecal valve, as well, with surrounding minimal stranding. Multiple enlarged regional lymph nodes. Trace of pelvic free fluid. No peritoneal or omental deposits. 

Case Discussion

Pathologically proven mucinous (colloid) carcinoma.
