Presentation

Patient presented with a long-standing history of lower abdominal pain with increased abdominal girth.

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female

There is paucity of bowel gas at the right lower quadrant with soft tissue like attenuation displacing the bowel

Right-sided pelviabdominal thin wall cystic lesion filling the right side and greatly displacing the bowel. It measures about 15 x 14 x 10 cm at its three dimensions.  An enhancing area noted at the posterior lateral aspect of the anterior wall. No mural enhancing nodules or septa could be appreciated. Features are suggestive of RT ovarian cystic tumor.

Case Discussion

The patient underwent excision of the right cyst, ovary and Fallopian tube.

Histopathology report: Ovary and Fallopian tube, mucinous borderline tumor / atypical proliferative mucinous tumor with intraepithelial carcinoma.
