Disfigured (coma shaped) left navicular bone with collapse and sclerotic changes of its lateral aspect.
Incidentally noted os peroneum.
Case Discussion
Mueller-Weiss syndrome is the name of adult onset spontaneous avascular necrosis of the navicular bone which is a rare disease, affecting females more than males.
Usually, the patient presents with foot pain.
X-ray shows characteristic imaging findings with collapse and sclerosis of the lateral aspect of the navicular bone.
