An enhancing tumoral mass measuring approximately 48 × 27 mm was noted at the left posterolateral bladder wall, involving the internal ureteral orifice. Additionally, a few small polypoid masses are seen at the right posterolateral bladder wall. Peri vesical fat density is minimally increased.
Case Discussion
The patient underwent surgical resection of urinary bladder mass and biopsy of small urinary bladder polypoid lesions and histopathology evaluation confirms multicentric transitional cell carcinoma.
Transitional cell carcinoma is the most common primary malignancy of the urinary tract and may be found along its entire length, from the renal pelvis to the bladder.
