- widespread hypoattenuation of the white matter with sparing of the cortex consistent with multicystic encephalomalacia
- generalized cerebral atrophy with ex-vacuo dilatation of the lateral ventricles worse on the right
Case Discussion
CT findings are consistent with multicystic encephalomalacia sequelae of hypoxic-ischemic injury following severe perinatal asphyxia.
