Prominency of the ventricular system and brain sulci depict brain tissue volume loss.
Corpus callosum is atrophic.
Bilateral extensive areas of cystic encephalomalacia predominantly in anterior circulation territory is seen.
Case Discussion
Regarding the imaging findings, bilateral extensive areas of cystic encephalomalacia caused by severe birth asphyxia is preferred diagnosis.
