Presentation

Left breast lump in a lactating mother

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female
mammography

Dense breast parenchyma (lactating) on both sides.

Left breast two dense irregular mass lesions with spiculated margins are seen at the mid breast segment.

Left axillary lymph nodes are noted.

ultrasound

Ultrasonographic examination showed the left breast upper middle segment (12 o’clock orientation) two mass lesions with hypoechoic, irregular and ill-defined margins. 

Left axillary lymphadenopathy having globular and oval shape as well as eccentric hila with increased cortical thickness.

Case Discussion

Histopathologically proven multifocal left breast cancer (BIRADS VI) with left axillary malignant lymphadenopathy.
