Case Discussion

The above case demonstrates a multinodular thyroid with calcification and retrosternal extension. In general ultrasound is the imaging modality of choice in the assessment of thyroid masses however CT provides more information about a restrosternal goitre and its relationship to surrounding structures including the trachea, oesophagus, and great vessels1
