Info

When compared to the previous MRI of the brain may has been significant disease activity, with at least 14 new demyelinating plaques identified both within the supratentorial compartment and involving the brain stem. These are image drop off periventricular, subcortical, juxtacortical lesions and are characteristic of a demyelination. Some of these, particularly at a sizeable right parietal region, demonstrate restricted diffusion.

Case Discussion

Typical appearances of active relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis (MS). Automated change maps (e.g. Vistarsier) are ways of visualising this change.
