Complaining of right leg swelling for the last 2 to 3 years. The swelling is present with the completely flexed knee only.

With the completely flexed knee, there is a well-defined swelling in the mid-third of the leg on the anterolateral side. The overlying skin is normal.

Swelling pointed by the patient (with the flexed knee) is a protrusion of tibialis anterior muscle belly through a facial defect. The defect size is about 27 x 18 mm. The protrusion disappears with compression. The muscle shows normal echo pattern with compression or reduction of the swelling.
