  • absent patellae
  • hypoplasia of the radial head

Case Discussion

The features of nail-patella syndrome shown in this case include:

  • on the pelvic x-ray - bilateral posterior iliac horns : virtually pathognomonic, 
  • on the knee x-ray - absent/hypoplastic patellae, 
  • on the elbow x-ray - hypoplasia of the radial head.
