Nasal encephalocoele

CT scan shows a bony defect in left cribriform plate associated with a large,solid mass emerging through it to fill and expand the entire left nasal fossa. There are also mucosal thickening of the anterior ethmoidal air cells, left sphenoid sinus and left maxillary antrum. In addition there is evidence of left osteomeatal unit obstruction and lateral displacement of the nasal septum.
