NGT inserted - please check position. History of esophagectomy-partial gastrectomy for carcinoma 8 years earlier.

Patient Data

Age: 80 years
Gender: Male

Status post esophagectomy with evidence of gastric pull-up. 

A nasogastric (NG) tube has been inserted with the tip lying in remnant distal stomach and not clearly subdiaphragmatic. The NG tube should not be used.

Lungs clear.
