Nasopharyngeal carcinoma

Right sided nasopharyngeal carcinoma obliterating fossa of Rosenmuller, infiltrating skull base and pterygoid muscle and abutting the inferior surface of right temporal lobe laterally and inferior aspect of sphenoid sinus medially.
Right mastoiditis.
C5 sclerotic lesion at the anterior body.
Case Discussion
The most common cause of otitis media and mastoiditis in elderly > 50 years is nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
It arises from fossa of Rosen Muller and obliterates the eustachian tube.
