Neck of femur fracture

There is a sub-capital fracture of the femoral neck on the right side, resulting in the shortening of the femoral neck and internal rotation of the femoral head; however, Shenton’s line is maintained.
No dislocation or subluxation is noted. The left hip joint and visualised viscera appear unremarkable.
Case Discussion
The current CT findings most likely suggest a right-sided, Garden type-I femoral neck subcapital fracture with resultant neck shortening, as described above.
