Patient Data

Age: 90 years
Gender: Male

AP Pelvis and left hip xray

Left sided neck of femur fracture. minimally displaced. Lytic lesion in the subtrochanteric region on the left side with endosteal scalloping seen on the lateral projection only.  

Case Discussion

The patient's surgery has been delayed now to investigate for primary malignancy/myeloma.

Learning point: vigilance and remind yourself about the satisfaction of search.
