Presentation

Prolonged resuscitation from birth now requiring ongoing ventilation. Pneumothorax?

Nasogastric tube in situ,

Large right sided pneumothorax with a collapsed right lung and air outlining the thymus.

No mediastinal shift.

x-ray

Interval right pleural drain insertion.  NG tube.

Small residual right sided pneumothorax.
