Follow up scan. RCC with left nephrectomy 3 years ago.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male
ct

Left nephrectomy.  No recurrence in the renal bed.

Fatty liver.

Gallstone.

Case Discussion

Typical post-operative appearances after a nephrectomy.

The adjacent structures tend to 'drop' into the space previously occupied by the kidney.

If the nephrectomy was for malignancy assess the 'renal bed' for recurrent disease.
