Axial CT section of the brain at the level of high frontoparietal lobes showing a well-defined ring lesion in the right frontal lobe with a central hyperdense focus representing scolex and surrounding hypodensity is seen adjacent to lesion representing edema. These features are consistent with colloidal stage of neurocysticercosis.
Case Discussion
This case shows cyst with dot sign, which is characteristic of colloidal stage of neurocysticercosis.
