Routine screening mammography

Patient Data

Age: 60
Gender: Female
mammography

Innumerable cutaneous lesions covering the left and right breasts. There is also a rounded, benign calcification on the right. No suspicious mammographic features.

Case Discussion

Breast neurofibromas present a benign "Aunt Minnie" mammographic appearance. They do however pose a diagnostic challenge as they distract the reader and obscure the breast parenchyma.
