Previous upper cervical surgery.

Patient Data

Age: Young adult
Gender: Female

MRI cervical spine

This young woman has had previous bilateral C2 neuromas excised with residual cystic myelomalacia of the cervical cord. At all other levels, bilateral neuromas are present.

Case Discussion

Typical appearances of extensive changes of neurofibromatosis type I; this diagnosis was confirmed clinically.
