Bilateral globus pallidus symmetrical foci of hyperintense signal in T2 and FLAIR with slight peripheral hyperintense margins on T1WIs. No diffusion restriction.
Diagnosis: Focal areas of signal intensity (FASI)

This patient is a known case of neurofibromatosis type 1.
