Neurogenic bladder in caudal regression syndrome

Presentation

Urinary incontinence with recurrent urinary tract infections.

Patient Data

Age: 4 years
Gender: Female

Absence of the distal sacrum and the coccyx on the plain abdominal radiograph.

On the MCUG the bladder is distended with moderately thickened wall and bilateral passive vesicoureteric reflux more marked on the left (grade 5).

Case Discussion

Case of neurogenic bladder in a patient known for caudal regression syndrome.

No other associated anomalies were seen in this case.
