Sitting film. Right-convex thoracolumbar curve. No vertebral abnormality.
Left-sided heart and stomach. PDA clip. Gastrostomy.
Case Discussion
There are several features on this film that suggest underlying neuromuscular scoliosis including a sitting pose (a 4-year-old should be able to stand for a whole spine series) and a gastrostomy tube. The curve is a smooth C-shaped curve which is often associated with neuromuscular causes.
