Progressive vision loss on the right.

Patient Data

Age: 33-year-old
Gender: Female

MRI Brain and orbits (selected images)

Subtle foci of increased FLAIR signal surrounding the cerebral aqueduct. The right optic nerve has diffuse increased signal on STIR. The remainder brain is unremarkable. 

Case Discussion

Patient has been followed up with the diagnosis of neuromyelitis optica (NMO).
