30 years old referred from GP with ongoing cough.

Patient Data

Age: 30
Gender: Female
x-ray

Normal cardiomediastinal contour. Lungs are clear.

Linear right nipple stud.  

Case Discussion

It is crucial to determine if radioopaque foreign body is localized internally or externally to avoid misinterpretation of plain radiographs.

It this case right nipple stud was mistaken for a cholecystectomy surgical clip.
