Case Discussion

LVNC (left ventricular non-compaction) is a cardiomyopathy characterized by deep recesses and prominent myocardial trabeculations. There are asymptomatic patients and those with heart failure and arrhythmia. Echocardiographic clinical diagnosis is based on an increased ratio of a compacted outer to non-compacted inner myocardium.
