Presentation

Dyspnea and cough for a while.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female

Bilateral diffuse geographic distribution of ground glass opacity alternating with normal lung parenchyma and areas of air-trapping, giving rise to the three-density sign.

Case Discussion

This patient was treated as bronchial asthma until the CT scan which is typical of non-fibrotic HP.

She subsequently mentioned that they keep birds as pets in the house. After removing them and taking glucocorticoid she recovered.
