Non-Hodgkin lymphoma infiltrating the thoracic wall

Presentation

Hard indolent left parasternal mass noticed by the patient about 2 weeks ago.

Patient Data

Age: 50
Gender: Male

Malignant lymphadenopathy in the anterior mediastinum, both axillae, and the neck (not shown).

A large mass encases the left internal thoracic (mammary) artery and has grown through the intercostal spaces into the pectoralis muscles.

CT

CT 5 months later, during chemotherapy.

After 5 month's chemotherapy, a CT showed full remission.

Diffuse macrocellular B-cell lymphoma.
