Non-ossifying fibroma

Persistent knee pain after a traffic accident.MRI performed for exclude the possiblity of meniscal tear.

Patient Data

Age: 16-year
Gender: Male

MRI shows a well defined lesion centred on the cortex of the proximal tibia which has the same signil intensity as muscle on the T1-weighted images and increasesd signal intensity on theT2-weighted images.

Case Discussion

Findings consistent with non-ossifying fibroma as an incidental finding in a 16-year-old male.
