Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Female

Basal and peripheral opacities are seen with traction bronchiectases. The dominant pattern of lung opacities is ground-glass. No evidence of honeycombing. 

Case Discussion

Peripheral ground-glass opacities are consistent with non-specific interstitial pneumonia (NSIP).
