Persistent feeling of food getting stuck in retrosternal area. Stricture?

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

Normal outline of the oesophagus. No stricture.

No mucosal abnormality. 

GOJ is widely patent.

No reflux or dysmotility.

Case Discussion

Normal appearances of the oesophagus on a barium swallow investigation.

Double contrast is well illustrated with barium coating the oesophagus. The oesophagus is well distended.
