Presentation

Both knees pain.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

BOTH KNEES

X-ray

Normal joint space and articular surfaces.

Normal bony trabeculation and density.

No evidence of osteoarthritic changes.

No evidence of soft tissue calcifications.

Case Discussion

Normal irregularities of the cortices of the tibial shafts laterally caused by ossification of the interosseous membrane, should not be mistaken for pathologies like exostoses.
