Age: 40
Gender: Male

Blunting of the costophrenic recesses due to normal diaphragmatic slips attaching to the lower ribs. Lungs and pleural spaces are clear. 

Case Discussion

Normal chest x-ray with diaphragmatic slips. When the lungs are hyperexpanded it is important not to confuse blunting of a costophrenic recess due to diapragmatic slip for blunting due to a pleural effusion.
