Presentation

Antenatal scan at 9-10 weeks pregnancy

Patient Data

Gender: Female

Ultrasound of a normal 9 week 5 day old fetus demonstrates the presence of physiological gut herniation. 

Also note the normal position of the yolk sac at this stage of gestation, as it is pushed aside by the expanding amniotic sac.
