Presentation
Post DCIS breast cancer. Complaining of poor memory and absences. Volume loss?
Patient Data
No parenchymal signal abnormality identified. Cerebral volume is age appropriate. Mesial temporal lobes appear normal. No evidence of restricted diffusion. Ventricles and basal cisterns are normal.
Case Discussion
This case illustrates a normal brain MRI scan in a neurodegenerative protocol: with a volumetric isometric T1, axial T2 limited to basal ganglia and posterior fossa, axial FLAIR, SWI, and DWI/ADC. The colorful sagittal sequence of the brain represent a reconstruction with the standard deviations of segmented brain volume compared to the normality for the age group.
