Presentation
Patient with a persistent headache and seven previous episodes of lower limb DVT. Intracranial hypertension? Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis?
Patient Data
The brain parenchyma has normal appearances and signal intensity, with no restricted effusion or abnormal contrast enhancement. No intra or extra-axial collection, mass or focal abnormality. No evidence of previous infarction or hemorrhage. MRV is unremarkable, with no evidence of venous sinus thrombosis. The imaged orbits, paranasal sinuses, and calvaria appear unremarkable.
Case Discussion
This case represents a normal brain examination, no dural venous sinus thrombosis or signs of intracranial hypertension.
