Normal trauma series radiographs.
Case Discussion
Normal trauma series radiographs. Note the apparent widening of the mediastinum and pulmonary venous congestion which are common normal supine radiographic appearances. Note the relatively central location of the trachea within the widened superior mediastinal outline which is a reassuring sign that there is unlikely to be periaortic hematoma.
