Frontal
Normal appearance of the endometrial cavity. No filling defects.
Left fallopian tube opacifies along the entire length with free peritoneal spillage. No dilatation, diverticulae or obstruction.
Right fallopian tube opacifies to the level of the mid-ampulla with subsequent abrupt obstruction and short segment of subtle tubal dilatation. No free peritoneal spillage.
Case Discussion
The patient had a history of several episodes of pelvic inflammatory disease, which is a known cause of tubal adhesions leading to blockage and infertility.
