Obstructing esophageal food bolus

The esophagus is dilated and filled with oral contrast. At the gastro-esophageal junction, there is a heterogeneous luminal mass. Contrast does not pass into the stomach.
Case Discussion
This patient had been eating steak and subsequently complained of dysphagia, and the history was notable for numerous episodes of impacted food boluses requiring endoscopic treatment.
