The posterior uvular space (PUS) is extremely narrowed mounting to obliteration, measuring about 0.1cm. The uvula and the soft palate appear to be unusually long and mildly thickened. Mildly thickened posterior pharyngeal wall.
Case Discussion
Enlarged uvula and soft palate as well as prominent soft tissue in posterior wall of nasopharynx to the degree that kissing each other in the mid line, causing almostly obliteration of the opposing air way with consequent obstructive sleep apnea.
