Bilateral occipital multiple variable-sized enlarged lymph nodes (larger at the left side) with surrounding thickening and fat blurring.
Left maxillary sinus retention cyst.
Otherwise, normal MR study of the brain.
Case Discussion
Extracranial pathologies can be the cause of patients' complaints referred from the neurologists and these areas should be added in the routine assessment of brain imaging studies.
This patient improved under a treatment course of analgesics and antibiotics.
