Known case of systemic lupus complains of acute onset seizures, headache and papilledma, suspected sinus thrombosis !?

Patient Data

Age: 30-year-old
Gender: Female
mri

Aplastic right transverse sinus and hypoplastic left transverse sinus with persistent bilateral occipital sinuses.

Case Discussion

Occipital sinus is the smallest of the dural venous sinuses. It may be solitary, duplicated, or composed of a mesh of venous collaterals. It's usually associated with absent/hypoplastic transverse sinuses.
