Bony projection seen arising from external occipital protuberance suggestive of occipital spur.
No definite fracture line seen within the examined bones.
Case Discussion
Occipital spur is a normal variant, more common in male, treated by surgery in symptomatic patients' which is curative, but analgesia and soft pillows are usually tried before surgery.
