Presentation

Fall onto outstretched hand with medial elbow pain and limited range of movement.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Elevated anterior fat pad on the lateral view.

This indicates a joint effusion which in the adult age group is suggestive of an occult radial head fracture.
