Presentation

The left eye trauma, subsequent eye pain, and decreased visual acuity.

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male

A penetrated dense foreign body within the left eye vitreous, causing the cornea, uveo-scleral layer, and uveo-scleral layer tear with vitreous hemorrhage and left side preseptal soft tissue swelling.

Case Discussion

The case illustrates the non-contrast MDCT features of a dense foreign body within the left eye vitreous body associated with ocular globe tear and vitreous hemorrhage.
