A dense foreign body with metallic artifact penetrated within the left eye posterior superonasal uveo-scleral layer with the layer tear and vitreous hemorrhage and exodeviation of the eye is seen.
Case Discussion
The case illustrates the non-contrast MDCT features of the penetrated metallic foreign body within the ocular globe complicated by uveo-scleral tear and vitreous hemorrhage. The ocular foreign body is an ophthalmology emergency and if complicated by vitreous hemorrhage has a worse outcome.
