Presentation
Direct blow to right eye and sudden blurred vision with a history of cataract surgery and implanted intraocular lens (IOL).
Patient Data
There are large thickness subchoroidal hemorrhage and cornea and uveo-scleral tear in the right eye both temporal and nasal side and no native lens in both eyes. The hypodense streaks in extraocular muscles can be senile changes.
Case Discussion
The case illustrates right eye large thickness subchoroidal hemorrhage and detachment due to ocular trauma. The subretinal hemorrhage and detachment are not extended within the anterior part of the vitreous and this point is the difference. The main differential diagnosis is hemorrhagic neoplasm most commonly choroidal melanoma which has the same shape and density on non-contrast orbital MDCT.
