Esophageal atresia with distal tracheo-esophageal fistula

There is curling of a nasogastric tube in the superior mediastinum with gas seen in the stomach and small bowel loops representing proximal esophageal atresia with distal tracheo-esophageal fistula.
Case Discussion
Proximal esophageal atresia with distal tracheo-esophageal fistula is the most common type of tracheo-esophageal fistula accounting for 85% of cases.
