The nasogastric tube is curled in a dilated proximal esophagus suggesting esophageal atresia
Gas is seen distally in the gastric cavity and bowel loops indicating a tracheo-esophageal fistula
Air space consolidation in the left lung.
Case Discussion
Typical appearances of proximal esophageal atresia with distal tracheo-esophageal fistula due to the gas seen in the stomach and bowel loops most likely presenting the most common type C.
